What you need
A linked Steam account in your player passport. Joining the server goes by SteamID — a player without Steam cannot be added to the match lineup. There is nothing to install.
How it goes
- After the veto, the platform assigns a server in the chosen location. When all servers are busy, the match waits in a queue and the time to join does not run yet.
- When the server is ready, a
connectcommand to paste into the CS2 console appears on the match page. Only players in the match lineup and the referee can see it. - From that moment the time to join the server runs.
- The server loads the maps and sides from the veto by itself.
- After the match, the server sends the result to the match room.
Who can join the server
Only people assigned to the match: players in the submitted match lineup, the referee and the staff. Other attempts to join are blocked. Do not share the connect command with anyone.
The result from the server
The result from the server is confirmed — or disputed — by the team that lost. The team that won can only dispute it. With no reaction, the result is confirmed automatically.
- If the server data does not match the veto (e.g. a different map was played), the result is not confirmed automatically — the referee decides.
- If the server does not send the results of all maps, the result is submitted the usual way, with a screenshot of the scoreboard.
The advantage in the grand final
When the series is decided thanks to the upper bracket's advantage map, the platform ends the match on the server — the next map is not played.
When the servers are down
After a CS2 update, the staff may temporarily switch off match servers. The match is then played as before and the result is submitted with a screenshot of the scoreboard. A notice about this appears in the match room. A problem during the match? Call the referee.
