Calling the referee and the Protest log

Call the referee

The Call the referee button is on the match page and in the match room. It opens a case with the match referee or, if the match has none, with the referee on duty. Only one case can be open at a time: if the referee has already been called, describe the problem in the thread. After a case is closed, another call is possible after a short break.

When to call: the opponent does not show up, a problem with the veto or the server, suspected cheating, disconnects, a disagreement about the rules.

The Protest log

The match page has a Protest log — a chronological list of referee calls, protests and disputes. An entry contains a description of the incident (what happened, when — round or minute, who it concerns) and attachments: a screenshot, a link to a replay, a demo. Both teams and the referee can see the entry.

An entry cannot be edited or deleted once added — keep it factual.

Attachments

Screenshots up to 8 MB, demos up to 50 MB, up to 4 files at a time. Upload a longer recording as a link (cloud drive, YouTube).

After the match

Once the result is confirmed, the room is read-only. Issues after the match are reported through the contact form — you will get a ticket number and a response time.

Community tournaments

PlayZeek does not referee community tournaments, so there is no referee call in them. See Community tournaments.
