The match room and the match lineup

The match room

A room is created for every match. Both teams and the referee are in it. Everything that happens there — messages, submitted results, screenshots, referee decisions — stays in the thread as evidence. So agree things with your opponent in the room, not in a private message or on Discord.

Once the result is confirmed, the room becomes read-only.

The match lineup, or match check-in

When the room opens, the captain or manager selects the players who will play and clicks Submit the lineup. A submitted lineup means the team is present.

  • There is a set time for submitting the lineup — by default 15 minutes from the room opening, or from the scheduled match time if that is later. The countdown in the match bar shows how much is left.
  • Only members of the team roster can be in the match lineup, without an active tournament penalty and with a linked game account if the tournament requires one. The coach and manager do not play.
  • The lineup can be changed until the end of the map veto (in a match without a veto — until the match starts). After that, only the referee can change it, with a reason both teams can see.

A team that has not submitted its lineup in time loses by walkover — details.

The countdown in the match bar

The match page has one countdown. It shows whatever will be settled next: match check-in, a veto move or the automatic acceptance of the result. When nothing will be settled automatically, the bar says the match is waiting for a person.
