What check-in is
Check-in confirms, shortly before the start, that your team will really play. The window opens before the tournament starts — usually for 30 minutes; the exact times are in the schedule on the tournament page. The captain or manager checks in with the Check in button. The countdown follows the platform's clock, not your computer's.
What if you do not check in
An entry without a check-in loses its slot when the window closes. Late check-ins count towards automatic penalties.
The waitlist
When all slots are taken, you can click Join the waitlist. The queue goes by the time of sign-up, and your position is shown on the tournament page.
When check-in closes, free slots go to teams from the waitlist that have also checked in. A waitlisted team without a check-in does not get in, even if it is first in line. Once the bracket starts, the waitlist closes.
Do not miss the start
