Result disputes: how they start and how they end

When a dispute starts

  • the other team clicks Dispute on a submitted result;
  • the two teams submit different results;
  • a result submitted by a team differs from the result sent by the match server.

In a dispute no result is confirmed automatically — the match waits for the referee.

What to do during a dispute

  • Add evidence to the Protest log: screenshots, a link to a replay, a demo.
  • Be specific: which map, which round, what does not match.
  • Do not submit new results — the platform does not accept them until the referee decides.

Referee decisions

The referee can:

  • accept the result submitted by one of the teams;
  • enter the result;
  • order a map replay;
  • dismiss the report as unfounded;
  • escalate the case to the administration.

Every decision has a reason that both teams see in the match room.

Withdrawing a dispute

If the matter is cleared up with the opponent, the captain or manager of the team that disputed the result clicks Withdraw dispute. The match then goes back to normal confirmation. A dispute cannot be withdrawn once the referee has decided, or when a result from the server is waiting for the referee for its own reason (e.g. a mismatch with the veto).

I disagree with the referee's decision

Write to the Tournaments and refereeing desk on the contact page and give the match ID (e.g. M14).
