Tournament prizes and payouts

Types of prizes

Under the Prizes tab on the tournament page, the organizer describes what can be won: cash prizes, goods, a skin from the organizer, or playing just for fun. Community tournaments sometimes have a “pool from contributions”; official tournaments are free, so they do not.

Official tournaments

  • A payout starts only when the result is final — after the tournament ends and disputes and appeals are settled.
  • The staff approves every payout by hand. Nothing is paid out automatically.
  • For the payout we will ask, through a ticket, for your full name and bank account number (cash prize) or a shipping address (goods). A person under 18 also attaches a statement from their legal guardian.
  • A team prize is split equally between the players who played in at least one match of the tournament (unless the tournament rules say otherwise). Each of them receives their share directly, after providing their own details.
  • Tax: the operator does not withhold or pay tax on prizes. Any tax obligations rest with the winner and depend on the value and nature of the prize. On request, we confirm the value of the prize awarded.
  • A prize that is not claimed because the details did not arrive within 30 days of the request is forfeited.

Details: Official tournament rules, § 15.

Payouts are handled by the Prizes and payments desk on the contact page. Do not raise them in the match room.

Community tournaments

PlayZeek does not handle prizes in community tournaments. A prize is the organizer's promise and the organizer settles it. If they do not keep their promises, report the tournament.

Your data

Your name on your profile is hidden by default. Payout details go only to the desk that handles the payout.
